AMiA West Coast Church Planting Movement with Todd Hunter

I’ve written about Todd Hunter before, and most recently in february, with a summation of what a huge influence he has been in my life.

Well Todd is now entering the episcopal priesthood, and leading a new church planting venture, focused on the west coast of the USA, for the Anglican Mission in the Americas.

You can catch a promo video here of what Todd is up to with this initiative.

Here is some more of the info I got on email from Todd:With Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO) we are launching a church planting movement designed to develop leaders committed to beginning new congregations located primarily, but not exclusively, on the west coast. Visitc4so.org and theamia.org for more information.

I am excited to share this new journey with you and ask for your prayers.

Blessings,

Todd Hunter

Todd’s great gift is to envision the Kingdom of God and the New Creation to come through the lens of historic humankind rather than simply through the lens of the Church proper.

His willingness to follow fresh paths continues to breed innovation and rambunctious play among Christ-followers in our generation.

    Thanks for the highlight, Jason.

Todd Hunter is coming to Boston!

I was under the tutelage of Todd for several years when he headed Alpha USA. During that time he spoke frequently about the emerging churches and how they would impact the present culture. He is a legitimate expert when discussing church, culture and their intersection.

Alpha New England has joined with Vision New England to bring Todd Hunter to Grace Chapel, Lextington, MA, for a one day seminar, Conversational Evangelism on April 29, 2009! View the website, http://www.conversationalevangelism.net, to get a taste of his talk.

For more information contact DickKiernan@alphausa.org or call 603-641-5741. This is an opportunity to hear how we can engage our new culture!
